    The 2015 Summer Movie Series countines with a viewing of Sandlot. The movie will begin at dusk. In case of rain, this will take place on Tuesday, July 7th.

    Join our roving Fun Patrol as we celebrate Friday night sunsets at various town pools and spray parks. The Fun Patrol will celebrate sunset with fun poolside activities including limbo, hula hoop contests, dancing contests and more. A live DJ will be on hand and there will be prizes and fun.     New York State Senator Michael Venditto will be hosting a Shed the Meds and Cell Phones for Soldiers event at Town Hall. Drive up and drop off unwanted medications and cell phones! See flyer for details.

  3. WWP Rider Reception Dinner

    July 15, 6:00 PM @ American Airpower Museum

    On Wednesday, July 15, the Town of Babylon will be hosting a Rider Reception Dinner to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project and to support the Soldier Ride. Guests will have the opportunity to meet with Soldier Ride participants. The dinner starts at 6:00 PM at the American Airpower Museum on New Highway in Farmingdale. A ticket for the dinner costs $50.00. Ten person tables are available.

  4. Free Narcan Training Session

    July 15, 7:00 PM @ Copiague Fire Department

    You will be trained how to react to a heroine overdose and receive a free kit of Narcan, a drug that reverses the effects of heroine, which can help save a life.

  5. Free Skin Cancer Screening

    July 16, 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM @ Tanner Park

    Receive a free screening for skin cancer, no requirements needed.

  6. Wounded Warrior Soldier Ride

    July 17, 9:00 AM @ Babylon Town Hall

    On Friday, July 17, 2015, the Town of Babylon will host the 7th Annual Wounded Warrior Soldier Ride. This event is a 25 mile bicycle ride through the Town of Babylon to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project and support service members who have been injured in the line of duty and their families. The route begins at Town Hall in Lindenhurst and ends at Overlook Beach on Ocean Parkway. Since 2008, over $600,000 has been raised for the Wounded Warrior Project as a result of this event.
