  1. Babylon Fall Festival

    October 11, 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM @ Town Hall Park

    An array of activities are featured during this Fall Festival including hay rides, a pumpkin patch, petting zoo, and face painting. Enjoy the musical entertainment and food that will be a part of the day’s festivities. It’s a day the whole family can enjoy! Admission is FREE. A fall delight for everyone! Presented with support from B103.

  1. 16th Annual Hispanic Heritage Month Festival

    October 4, 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM @ Tanner Park Bandshell [Tanner Park Senior Center in event of inclement weather]

    Join us for the Town of Babylon's 16th Annual Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration - "A Legacy of History, a Present of Action & a Future of Success." There will be special honorees, music, vendors, cultural displays, live entertainment and more! See the attached flyer for additional information.

  2. STOP Day/Fall Clean-up Day

    October 11, 8:00 AM - 2:30 PM @ Residential Recycling Center

    As part of STOP Day, the Town of Babylon offers residents a free, safe method to dispose of household hazardous materials. For full details on STOP Day, see attached flyer. Also on October 11th is Fall Clean-up Day, where residents are permitted unlimited free trips with an automobile and one free trip with pickups, vans or trailers (4 feet by 8 feet). These cleanup days are free of charge. Any vehicle larger than a van or pickup truck will not be permitted. No commercial waste is accepted. Acceptable items include furniture, white goods (such as stoves and dishwashers) and wood products such as fencing, paneling and brush. Unacceptable items include car and boat parts, or demolition debris. Wood items must be cut into 4 foot lengths. For information on the type of items that will be accepted at the Residential Recycling Center, call 249-9346 or 249-9347.

  3. Town Hall Closed

    October 13, All Day

    The Babylon Town Hall and Town Hall Annex will be closed on Monday, October 13th for Columbus Day.

  4. Town Board Meeting

    October 20, 3:30 PM @ Town Board Room

    There will be a meeting of the Babylon Town Board on Monday, October 20th at 3:30 PM at Town Hall, located at 200 East Sunrise Highway in Lindenhurst.

  5. Red Ribbon Week Kick-off Ceremony

    October 22, 6:30 PM @ Town Hall

    Join the Town of Babylon, the Copiague Chamber of Commerce and other local organizations as we kick-off Red Ribbon Week with a special ceremony at Town Hall. Red Ribbon Week lasts from October 23 to October 31 and serves to raise awareness about alcohol and drug abuse.
