Department of Social Security: SNAP and Medicaid application and assistance.

PSE&G: Assistance and questions regarding your electrical bill.

Pre-Apprenticeship Program:
The WCRC has teamed up with SCCC and the DOL to provide critical job skills training to the community. Previous programs have been very successful, and recent graduates are currently working at the Wyandanch Rising Project site.

We are currently holding a Manufacturing Class for Fall 2014. In the future we hope to hold more classes, and to offer more skill training to more members of the community.

Council of Thought and Action (COTA):
Held every Wednesday at 5:00pm, and organized by Deputy Police Commissioner Risco Mention Lewis, COTA is open to everyone and seeks to promote community and a support network. Since its inception in 2008, more than 1000 men and women have come to COTA to connect with resources and improve their community.

Occasionally, we also host on-site hiring opportunities and other events.
