Comptroller's Office

Overview

The comptroller is the chief fiscal adviser to the Town Board and assists the town supervisor in the preparation of the budget. This department also acts as an accounting office, it prepares and maintains accounts, records, and documents all receipts, accounts receivable, investments, and borrowing for the town. Additionally, the comptroller is also responsible for the preparation of the payroll for the town and serves as the overseer of the health and dental insurance programs and the employee retirement program.

Personnel & Labor Relations

The Personnel and Labor Relations Division posts and distributes current civil service examination information. The department also manages all personnel records for Town of Babylon employees.

Affirmative Action

The Affirmative Action Office is responsible for ensuring that the Town of Babylon is in compliance with Suffolk County, New York State, as well as federal regulations regarding affirmative action.
