Parking Permit Office
Responsibilities of Parking Permit Office
The Parking Permit Office, a division of the Town Attorney's Office, is responsible for the issuance of parking permits for all Babylon Town-maintained parking spaces at the Copiague and Wyandanch Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) commuter lots. These permits prevent non-Town of Babylon residents from parking on Town commuter lots. Yearly permits are valid from January 1 to December 31 of each year.
When applying for a Town of Babylon Parking Permit, only the registered owner of the vehicle may apply. Detailed instructions can be found on both applications linked below.
Please note that the Town of Babylon only issues LIRR parking permits for the stations in Copiague and Wyandanch. The Villages of Amityville, Babylon and Lindenhurst issue permits for the stations within their respective jurisdictions.
