Hometown Heroes Banner Program

Town of Babylon Supervisor Rich Schaffer, Deputy Supervisor Tony Martinez, Councilman and Veterans Advisory Board Chairman DuWayne Gregory and the rest of the Town Board are proud to present the annual Hometown Heroes Banner Program! The program is a partnership between our Beautification Program and the Kiwanis Club of Lindenhurst.

The banners feature the name and photo of service men and women from the Town of Babylon and will hang between Memorial Day and Veterans Day on over 600 decorative lampposts across the town including the Villages of Lindenhurst and Amityville. It’s an amazing way to honor the brave men and women who have sacrificed so much for us here at home.

For applications and information visit the Kiwanis Club of Lindenhurst website to learn more.

Banners will cost $200, with a portion of the proceeds going to one of three veterans organizations of your choosing (listed on application). You will also receive a 4"x6" copy and digital copy of the banner, as well as the chance to share your loved one's story to our website.
