In October 2023, The Wall That Heals, a ¾ size replica version of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial will be coming to Tanner Park in Copiague.
We believe this will be a great way to honor our veterans and bring together the community, but we cannot do this without the support of people like you! We have to raise the necessary funds prior to the event. We ask that you will consider helping to support our goal by signing up to be a sponsor today. Enclosed is the sponsorship sheet. If you have any questions you can email tobveterans@townofbabylon.com. You may email us if you wish to volunteer as well.
Town of Babylon visitors will experience The Wall That Heals exhibit which is 375 feet in length and stands 7.5 feet high at its tallest point. Visitors can do name rubbings of over 58,000 individual service member's names on The Wall.
The 53-foot trailer that carries The Wall That Heals transforms into a mobile Education Center and features several historic aspects of The Wall.
We look forward to partnering with you and need your support today to make the visit of The Wall That Heals to the Town of Babylon.
