[ARCHIVED] Town Recognizes Young Resident Who Helps Clean Local Park

AJRosalesResize

The Town of Babylon proudly recognizes 5-year-old AJ Rosales for his commitment to continuously cleaning up West Babylon’s Scott Park (Police Officer Dirk Wrede Park) and caring for our environment.

Every Tuesday when AJ stays with his grandmother, he loads up his quad and the two take a trip to Scott Park. Along the way, AJ stops to clean up any litter he sees. He then goes on to clean the park. Supervisor Rich Schaffer, Deputy Supervisor Tony Martinez and Councilmen Terence McSweeney and DuWayne Gregory were honored to recently join AJ at the park and present him with a certificate of special recognition on behalf of the town.

We thank AJ for his dedication and commitment to our community. We know he has a very bright future ahead of him.
