NORTH AMITYVILLE, NY – The Town of Babylon recently honored the Ministerial Alliance of North Amityville (M.A.N.A.) Executive Board for the incredible work they have done throughout the community, as well as in recognition of the strong partnership between the organization and the Town.

“M.A.N.A. has been exceptional in their support of the Town throughout the years,” said Town of Babylon Supervisor Rich Schaffer. “The organization has provided significant wisdom and guidance to many in our community, including me and others on the Town Board, throughout the years. I am truly grateful for M.A.N.A. and the manner in which the organization and our Town have always been able to come together in dedicated service of our community.”

Supervisor Schaffer and Councilman Anthony Manetta presented proclamations and certificates to the members of the M.A.N.A. Executive Board at a ceremony. The recipients were the organization’s president Bishop Andy C. Lewter, executive director of the Gospel Express Rev. Lynn Boone, vice president Bishop Walter C. Willie Jr., political liaison Pastor Keith Hayward, founding member Pastor Patricia Rickenbacker, founding member Pastor Robert Burgess, treasurer Pastor Alexia Burgess-Huart, administrator Elder Deidrea-Sealy, secretary Pastor Christian D. Code and social media director, Pastor Terrance Daye.

“On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, I was deeply moved and inspired by M.A.N.A.’s program and expansion and revitalization of activities,” said Councilman Manetta. “I immediately coordinated with Supervisor Schaffer and the Town Board to find the best way to recognize their meaningful contributions to the community. To M.A.N.A., thank you for all you do, not just for your congregations and the North Amityville community but for the positive impact you have on the entire Town of Babylon as well. We are looking forward to continuing our longstanding partnership.”
