On Sunday, July 27th, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts will hold food drives at a number of supermarkets in the Town of Babylon to help stock the Town’s Food Pantry.
Local scouts in North Babylon will be hosting a “Scouting Community Project” Food Drive at the King Kullen in the Sunset City Shopping Center on Deer Park Ave in North Babylon from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The food drive is a combined effort from Cub Scouts of Pack 112, Boy Scout Troop 399 and Girl Scouts of Service Unit 16. Additionally, Girl Scout Service Unit 24 will also be hosting their own food drive with twelve other troops from the area to collect food items at Stop and Shop, Waldbaum’s and Pathmark locations throughout Lindenhurst and West Babylon from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
