Babylon Town Supervisor Rich Schaffer recently joined with Deputy Supervisor Tony Martinez to recognize Nicholas J. Sabbatino of West Babylon for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout – the highest honor awarded in the Boy Scouts organization. A Court of Honor ceremony was held in honor of Nicholas, who is a member of Troop 54, where he was presented with an official Town Proclamation by Supervisor Schaffer and Deputy Supervisor Martinez. For his Eagle Project, Nicholas constructed and installed a bench at Babylon Town Hall’s Veteran’s Memorial in Lindenhurst.
