[ARCHIVED] Supervisor Schaffer Thanks Wyandanch Fire Department for Beautification Efforts

Babylon Town Supervisor Rich Schaffer recently joined with Deputy Supervisor Tony Martinez, Councilman Tom Donnelly and Receiver of Taxes Corinne DiSomma to honor the Wyandanch Fire Department for their continued beautification efforts in the Town of Babylon. Over sixty residents and community leaders came out to assist in the clean-up of the corner of 21st Street and Straight Path, which the fire department has committed to clean and maintain. Supervisor Schaffer presented officials from the fire department with an official Town proclamation for their dedicated service to the community. The Wyandanch Fire Department also maintains two additional sites: the George Sims Veterans Memorial Plaza and the corner of Colonial Springs Rd and Main Street in Wheatley Heights.
