Babylon Town Councilman Tom Donnelly would like to remind residents that the Deer Park Fire Department is hosting their second annual 9/11 Essay Contest. Essays should be no more than 500 words. One essay will be selected from each school: Deer Park High School, Robert Frost Middle School, and John F. Kennedy Intermediate School. Each of the three winning writers will receive a $50 gift card. The winners and their essays will be recognized at the Deer Park Fire Department’s 9/11 Memorial Service on September 12, 2015.
