On Saturday August 20th, 2016, the Town of Babylon will be hosting its annual summer Beach Blast at Overlook Beach. Residents are invited to participate in the events free of charge. Events will include relay contests, games, rides, face painting, and the annual ice cream eating contest. In addition, musical entertainment will be provided by Steel Drum Mania, Endless Summer, and Unforgettable Fire. The day will culminate with the 22nd annual fireworks extravaganza, which will begin at dusk. Parking is only available to residents with recreation permits; additional parking will be available at Cedar Beach and Cedar Beach Marina for residents only with a 2016 recreation permit. Rain date is Sunday, August 21st.
