[ARCHIVED] ALERT: Storm Preparation

The Town of Babylon would like to remind its residents to take every necessary precaution as Tropical Storm Hemine approaches our area early next week. We suggest making a kit of emergency supplies, including water, non-perishable food, first aid kits, flashlight, batteries, and important family needs like medications, infant formulas, and diapers. We also encourage our residents to make a plan and continue following the local news and weather reports for information about our area. PSEG Long Island will be closely monitoring and addressing all power outages. The Town of Babylon Department of Public Works will be on call throughout the weekend and is prepared to address any issues that arise from a storm such as tree fallings and road blockages.
