[ARCHIVED] Town of Babylon to Host ‘Family Safety Day’ This Saturday
(May 17, 2017 – Lindenhurst, NY) – On Saturday, May 20th, the Town of Babylon—in partnership with the Crime Victims Center Parents for Megan’s Law, New York State Senator John Brooks and Town Special Assistant Terence McSweeney—will host Family Safety Day at Babylon Town Hall. The event will run from 12PM-3PM and feature child sexual abuse and abduction prevention seminars, karaoke, healthy snacks, and car seat checks. Car seat checks will be conducted by New York State Troopers, and appointments can be made by calling Senator Brooks’ office at 516-882-0630.
Saturday’s event is being sponsored by Hope Floats Long Island, Dunkin Donuts of Deer Park, and Safe 4 Kids.
Babylon Town Hall is located at 200 East Sunrise Highway in Lindenhurst.
