[ARCHIVED] Town of Babylon Officials Recognize Local Executive Running to Honor Veterans

Town of Babylon Supervisor Rich Schaffer, Councilwoman and Veteran Jackie Gordon and Councilman Terry McSweeney recently recognized Eva Casale, the Senior Vice President of Information Technology for Suffolk Federal, for running seven marathons in seven days to raise funds and awareness for the Hope for the Warriors foundation. Suffolk County Legislature Presiding Officer DuWayne Gregory was also in attendance.

The ceremony took place outside of the Copiague Fire Department, one of Casale’s pit-stops along her route. Supervisor Schaffer and Councilpersons Gordon and McSweeney thanked Casale for her continued commitment to the betterment of the veteran community on Long Island.
