Mass shootings have become a disturbing trend in the United States. Join Councilman and Public Safety Chairman Terence McSweeney for a presentation on what to do in the event you are in the presence of an active shooter.
The presentation will be given by Suffolk County Police Department Detective Clifford Lent of the Homeland Security & Criminal Intelligence Bureau. A 24-year veteran of law enforcement, Det. Lent also spent four years in the United States Navy. He is a subject matter expert in Active Shooter Civilian Response Training.
