The Town of Babylon’s number one priority is the safety and well-being of our residents. We are committed to making sure that our residents are informed about emergency situations and how to best deal with them.  Whether it is a hurricane, a blizzard, or even an emergency within your own home, it is important to remain vigilant and mindful of how to effectively deal with a hazardous situation to best ensure the safety of you and your loved ones.

Hurricane Sandy
Since Hurricane Sandy hit Long Island last fall, the Town of Babylon has been active in providing relief to those who were affected by the storm. Babylon has worked with the federal, state, and county governments as well as local organizations to see that resources are allocated fairly and properly to those in need.  The Town continues to work with those who have been affected on a one-on-one basis to help get them back on their feet.  Please contact us at 311 if you are in need of assistance.
